There are several ways for you to get here: If you come from Medellin the trip will take around 2 hours (If traveling on a holiday it will take around 3 hours and a half, so we recommend you take this in count and travel early in the morning) If you are in Guatape you must go thru the town´s Malecon (waterfront) and before you get to the bridge leading to San Rafael , take a right and go all the way until that road ends , then go left and go straight, when the urban zone ends you will find Casa Encuentro around the 300 meter mark ( or 1000 feet) If you arrived by bus you can ask any tuk-tuk´s to take you to Casa Encuentro. it costs from 3000 to 4000 pesos and it can carry 3 persons You will find a house with yellow walls and blue doors, we have a painting outside with the Colombian flag

Stimated travelling time: 2h Its important to note that the buses don´t operate 24 hours, the service starts at 6 a.m and finishes at 6 p.m

Yes, you may but only if you follow all the indications described at the reception, lifejacket is a must

Entry to the lake is safe, the waters are clean and easy but the ground is very muddy All the indications given at the reception must be followed

We don´t have a kitchen and the restaurant isn´t opened after breakfast. We have partnered with local Guatape businesses so you can order food and get it delivered to Casa Encuentro

It´s a "finca" (a country house) with several constructions, divided in different zones: Restaurants, private rooms, hamaca zones, balconies and camping zone, it has an event hall and green zones for enjoyment

Our invitation for you is to disconnect, none of our rooms have a television of any kind

Violet, Bamboo and Anthurium are the only rooms that have a balcony

Yes, all the rooms include an inner bathroom

Yes, you can but it is a small place, we do not reserve the space for anybody, all cars are allowed to stay in arrival order There´s a private parking lot nearby Casa Encuentro

Not we directly but we offer you the service of an allied bussisnes

unfortunately no, we don´t

Pay U, credit and debit cards as well. For Colombian payments we ask for a deposit in our Bancolombia account for 50% of the reservation

Our camping consist of an open space where you can find different animal species like birds, frogs and insects, so we beg you to be careful around these areas so neither them nor you get hurt during your visit, we also recommend bringing repelent against mosquitos

the camping areas count with several showers for you to use but they don´t have hot water

The camping space is not iluminated by any kind of light, so we strongly recommend you to bring a torch for your convenience

We only offer you the camping as a safe space for you to be, so you´ll have to bring things like tent, towel, pillow or protective plastics
